Buying @ the Bassing.co.za shop
We sell gear, components and clothes related to the bass fishing industry. Special Prices only apply if you are a regular customer and/or buy in extra large quantities - subject to approval by the management of Bassing.co.za.
We aim to source quality and cost-effective products. Should you however encounter any faults or problems with any of the products as a result of manufacturing, please contact us, so that we can arrange the return of the product and the replacement of it!
Some products might differ slightly in colour and design from time to time. Should a particular product be unavailable or temporarily out of stock, we will contact you with the best alternative option available in a similar price range.
Samples of all the products listed in the Bassing.co.za shop can be viewed at our premises - by appointment only.

Quantities and availability
We advise that you organize your equipment and order the required items well in advance to ensure quantities and availability. Timing is crucial! Always be prepared! Add a few days just to be safe.
*Please Note: We accept no responsibility for bad timing and poor organization!
Always keep in mind, large quantities and delivery outside Gauteng (or specified delivery areas), may take more time to process and/or deliver. We will notify you in such a case and keep you up to date with the progress of your order.
Collection and Delivery
Allow 2-7 working days for orders to be processed and delivered, depending on your area in South Africa. Most items in the Bassing.co.za shop needs to be packaged for safe shipment and delivered to your door. Reduce the waiting time by collecting your order from the offices, or request a special delivery if the package is urgent and needs to be delivered faster than stated above.
Prices stated on your requested quote include the delivery costs you select from the dropdown. Select a collection/delivery option in the dropdown menu when you Request a Quote to add delivery costs (if applicable) and/or to notify us in the case of a collection.
Our office is based in Boksburg on the East Rand in Gauteng should you decide to pick up your order from the premises. Our full address is displayed on the Invoice once you've placed your order.
All delivery and postal costs to be paid and contact details confirmed before any order will be released by Bassing.co.za.
Collection: Orders can be collected from our office/showroom at an arranged time. Please inform us if a driver or personal courier service will be collecting your order, as we require verification upon collection to ensure that you receive your package!
Courier: Bassing.co.za uses a private courier company to deliver all our products to your door. Deliveries are scheduled between Monday and Friday. Choosing to have your package delivered saves you time, petrol and elliminates extra traffic! Delivery by courier is the safest option.
All delivery and contact details are confirmed before an order is released by Bassing.co.za to the courier service. If couriers are unable to deliver a package, after delivery was confirmed, because nobody is available or has authority (over 18 years) to check and sign for a package, it will be returned to Bassing.co.za. In such a case, delivery costs will be repeated with the confirmation of a following delivery or a collection time arranged.
Once a package has been released by Bassing.co.za and is already in transit, delivery details and date cannot be changed.
All orders are double-checked, before it is released by Bassing.co.za and upon delivery before it is signed off, to ensure that you receive the requested items in the correct quantities.
A signature is required upon all delivery. After a package is accepted and signed for, we accept no responsibility for incorrect quantities or products. Make sure that you receive the requested items upon delivery! If there is any problem, please contact us.
Even though we do everything we can to ensure that the correct parcel reaches you safely and promptly, Bassing.co.za cannot be held liable for any loss encurred due to the delay in delivery caused by factors beyond our control. Remember to always add a few days just to be safe, rather than sorry!

- Johannesburg to Johannesburg Regional Outlying: R 146.00
- Johannesburg to Pretoria: R 85.00
- Johannesburg to Cape Town: R 105.00
- Johannesburg to Durban: R 105.00
- Johannesburg to George: R 153.00
- Johannesburg to Port Elizabeth: R 153.00
- Johannesburg to East London: R 153.00
Please contact us regarding a special delivery if you are located outside the above mentioned areas or if you are not sure under which area your location is listed.
South African Postal Service: Orders shipped via SA Postal Services are not dependant on area as a flat rate applies to all areas in South Africa. This is a much cheaper option, especially for small parcels and to further destinations (depending on size). Regular post office mail takes 3 - 5 working days. Even though an insurance option is available, there is unfortunately no guarantee that you will receive your parcel, or that it is undamaged. Time and effort is not covered! Not the safest option for fragile and/or valuable items!
Orders shipped via SA Postal Service are assigned a Tracking Number which you will receive via email. When your parcel has arrived at its destination, you will receive a collection slip with your tracking number to collect your parcel from your local post office counter. Your parcel can be tracked via the internet on www.sapo.co.za (Online Tools, dropdown menu top right) or by phoning the tollfree number 0860 111 502.
Optional insurance of 2% of the declared value with a minimum of R20 is available. Parcels are insured against loss and damage during transit. Bassing.co.za does not take any responsibility for parcels once they have entered the postal system. We advise that you always insure your parcel.
Should you require us to use the Postal Office for your delivery, we will confirm the price for delivery upon receipt of your order according to fluctuating postal service prices.
Payment & bank details
Your order is confirmed once payment has cleared and we have received proof of payment made. If a confirmed order is cancelled by you at any time hereafter, you are liable for a cancellation fee of 20% (twenty percent) of the total amount in order to receive a refund (administration & bank costs).
Prices and products quoted on your Request is valid for 7 (seven) days as stock might not always be available, and prices can change from time to time without specific notification. If an order is not confirmed after 7 days (by payment), your request will be cancelled and you would have to do it all again!
Payments can be made electonically via the internet, transfered at an ATM (may take a bit longer) or deposited directly into our account - see details below. Please include your order number in the reference section.
*Please Note: No items will be ordered if payment has not cleared in our account. This might take a day depending on the method of payment. Please do not make a payment by cheque, as this will delay your order with up to 7 days (clearing period).
