Thread: Where to fish in Pretoria/Centurion

We have been very lucky to be offered the load of a boat this weekend. As it is our first time we dont want to travel to far, can anyone suggest a nice place in and around Pretoria/Centurion. We live in Fourways but will be picking the boat up in Centurion.


I must say Im very excited, I have only fished from the bank before...

Debbie, a bunch of us will be fishing Rust de Winter on Saturday, it is about an hour north of Centurion and is fishing well at the moment.

I'm with Robdog, Rusties is the place to be this Saturday, however Bronkies is gonna be the place to be tomorrow!!!

Bronkies on a week end is hectic, and a lot of cowboys on the water making it unsafe in the exterme!

Thanks for the info guy, Rikkie is also leaning towards Rusties. Im just terrified of the hippos and crocs ;-).

Im not sure about Saturday though, maybe I can twist his arm. It would be great to meet some guys from the forum.
