Baie goed.

Very good article VX. I have been trying to identify a baitfish spotted at Goedertrouw, and the closest I can find in your article is the papermouth.

VX, it is nearly impossible to get a pic of these fish. They are very silver and hardly make a noise as they dart out and back into the water. If it was in salt water I would have said it was a little mullet for sure. (approx. 5"-6")

Cool article Deon. Don't forget the scalies you get in Natal. They would be long, thin, and be a nice light colour I think. I would also expect them to jump on occasion.
Have a great day at the water

    You could be right Brian.

I have found in the past that the only way to be sure what baitfish the bass are eating is to check the stomach contents.
