I got a call from The Little Green Fish AKA Rowan Oberholzer this morning asking if I had heard of Lowrance's announcement at iCast 2010 of DSI or 'DownScan Imaging'. I thought he was pulling my leg at first, but it is no prank. Lowrance actually won the New Product Award with DSI.

Some time next year Louis. Availability on these units are going to be poor due to the high demand.

Is the LSS1 included or would it be an additional requirement?

All one unit Mark. Just keep in mind that it is a DownScan Imager, and not a SideScan Imager.

I think not Mark, in fact I think they will compliment each other quite nicely now. Elite-5 DSI with HB's affordable 798cxSI at R11500 will make a great pair.
