    Default My new boat

    Hi guys,

so I finally got my boat yesterday, woohoo!! Now I just need the floatation and all that done. Does anybody know how much this will cost more or less for a 15 foot boat? And how long will it take? I really need to go and fish next weekend!!

Cool boat, hope you have hundreds of hours of fun on board.

Not sure who does flotation in your area. You would need to check their pricing. There was a thread on the board here about the costs which should help as a guide. Suggest you search using "flotation" as a keyword.
Have a great day at the water

I have put 24 pool noodles in my boat(Venom). Valid floatation and is valid for 10 years where your normal foam is only valid for 5 years.

Hi OT, both types last just as long, the noodles are made of the same material as the normal foam. After every 10 years your foam needs to be re-evaluated to make sure it's still ok. Karl Krause at Camping and Boating reckons the foam will usually stay in the boat for the life of the boat if done properly.

    Hi Pershond,

I have had some awesome laughs whilst on your new boat. One of them is when we towed a fancy Nitro at the Vaal River.

Good luck with your boat and I hope you catch many, many lunkers off her.
