    Question Rapids, Fish and Sun!!!

    Ok guys....

So i would like to do an adventure in September this year, dont know if it will be possible and dont know if it will realise, but i really hope it does...

I would like to start somewhere on the vaal river ( below the barrage ) and fish through to parys, i know the bit from eendekuil up to carry blaire, i was thinking of starting at eendekuil or oosthuizens....Eendekuil is not that far from parys and maybe a good place to start something like this for a begin.
But im not sure how the rapids and waters look like after carry blaire?
This is where i will need some info from kayakers, i know a few, so that wont be the problem.
I think this could be really fun, we would start early in the morning and go down to parys, if its possible...
Fish that we will be targeted will be, smallie and largie yellows ( on fly and small cranks ), catfish ( livebait, fly and any other lure...) , Carp on Fly and then also in your quieter water spots...BASS!!!!

The only person i will allow to come with me ( for safety reasons ) is people with inflatables, pontoons and kayaks/canoes that can take level 3 rapids, if needed, you also need two oars at least....i will be trying to go on a day when the flow is at its lowest, that might have to be a little bit earlier then, maybe august, but this will have its own other problems...GETTING STUCK.

    You will need:

Pontoon, inflatable, canoe/kayak with at least oars.
    Fishing Rods
    Bait ( flies, lures, livebait...)
    food
    Boots with a velt sole....

Like i said before, this might not realise, but i would love to do it, you never know you mights just get a honey hole with lunkers....There is some big cats on this piece of water, i have caught a 15KG myself and have seen cats over 20KG's, yellows that will go for your small cranks are also quite big and there is a few still water areas, where there is bound to be bass...

Another really cool website i have found, that tempted me in doing this is RiverBassin.com | Kayak Bass Fishing America's Rivers and Creeks | An online community for the everyday angler

Why not start at yellow fish paradise? It's right below the barrage, that way we'll get to fish more water.

I'm just going to go after some of those big moggies, I've never caught a big cat and I just need to!

Im in. This I have done before many times with my dad in canoes before I started bassing. My personal best yellow of 23kg and babel 42kgs was caught on a night on ilands. This is something awsome to do, just one thing a canoe does not last long if it hit the rocks. But Hugo im in just say when and where.
