The similar thing happened to a guy at Vaal River in Orkney. Old merc with diesel engine, oke stalled, forgot hand brake and was holding his car up on his own until we got there, water almost to his dashboard. Had to haul him out with a 4x4 and the thing still started first time when he got to the top!
