Default Sebile as landed in SA

On our departure from Goedies yesterday, I met up with Wayne Easton from Easton Outdoor Equipment (No relation to John I think)

Wayne currently supplies the Quechua range of tents and has secured the rights to supply the Sebile range in SA. He was testing a couple of the lures at the dam wall and showed Louis and I the range. I must say that some of the surface lures look far too small, but the swimbaits and suspending lipless range looks awesome. Most stock will be landing in 2 weeks time and he said that Sportfisher in PMB has bought a huge amount of stock.

Wayne can be contacted at 076 5777 118 for enquiries.

Well I have just had my 3rd Quechua tent from outdoor warehouse and upon first opening it as with the other two the darn thing was bust, the poles had broken and now I have lost the invoice, R799, three trips to outdoor and three camping trips and I still havent had the pleasure of seeing one work and now I am stuck with a brand new none working R799 bit of fabric.

I have spent my whole life buying tents looking for the 'ONE'. I have found it, the 360 degree Turbo range. Light, tuff and easy to pack away. I have the Turbo plus for the family, and the Turbo Lite when it's just two of us.

Yes John those tents are awesome, I wasn't expecting a miracle tent but after paying the money and going back to the shop 3 times you would expect to get one that actually isn't broken.

    Hi PomeRob .

Wayne here from Quechua SA - Easton Outdoor Equipment.

In reply to your comment above : We DO NOT supply Outdoor Warehouse with our range of Quechua tents for the exact reason below :

The tent/s you bought from OutWhse are in fact direct copies of our original and patented 2006 design 2 man tent. [probably EPE / Speedy]

Please place your trust and camping happiness in the ORIGINAL -QUECHUA 2 Second Range.

I respectfully request you make sure you have the correct details on your problematic product before brand bashing.

I trust you will kindly correct your statement. Please feel free to contact me should you need the best quality self deploying tent in the world ! QUECHUA.

With all due respect Wayne, sue the living #### out of them. If the are using a patented design (poorly copied) and then claiming them to be originals, then you owe the public a favour to cut their "goodies" off.....

I am sure Pomerob had no idea these were not originals and I must ask where he would find out that they were not originals (if not for you pointing it out). Seriously, take these guys to task. This is surely the only way to protect your good name?

    Hello BIG B

I think there may be some misunderstanding - these tents are NOT my QUECHUA brand , and bear no Quechua LOGO whatsoever , they simply are just a knock-off of our '06 original 2 man design. There should be no confusion from Pomerob in this regard as the tents sold at OutWhse are branded Speedy 2 Areo - NaturalInstincts or EPE. We have and are dealing with it.

With QUECHUA leading the way in self deploying tent technology it can be expected some misdirected product blame will arrive at some point. It is important now to emphasise the truth and give credit where credit is due[or not in this case]

Quechua quality speaks for itself as the most innovative self deploying tent designs in the world. Thousands of Quechua owners are enjoying this concept camping throughout SA.

All the best , have a fantastic holiday ,

    tight lines !
