    Hi Guys.

    Sorry if i posted this in the wrong section. I want to purchase a bass boat from a friend of mine. Im getting the boat and trailer and equipment reasonable cheap. Where do i go to get Buoyancy certificate, & Certificate of Fitness for it. Also what are the prices involved?

    Hey bro , Niel Barker can do it for you , and yes you do need one.... I think there are a few dam you need your COF or no fish....

    Costing for me and I need a few things was R1000 and now I have everything plus you can wait until it is done!!!!

    To do your cof go to camping and boating in apex,i think they do it for R550,00,sticker+ name plate,i heard that there is a going rate for the cof,anything over R xxx.xx they are ripping u off!cant remember what the amount was.....
    But give them a call,they could tell u more......

    I am looking to put bottles into my boat for the bouancy certificate. How do I calculate the number of bootles I need?

    speaking under correction it is 30% of your boats weight? there is a formulae on the sadsa site...

    You need 30% of total weight of your boat. The volume of the bottles should be the same as the 30%. What bottles are you going to use?


    If you have high maintenance on your boat then I hope its in a BIKINI and not on your outboard
