Thread: Private Venues in and around PMburg

Hi Guys, does anybody have information on private venues near Pmburg.

Bank or boat fishing? Most private venues or farm dams don't have launching facilites and are quite overgrown making bank angling tricky. This is where our friends on float tubes can capitalise. Will check with my papgooing buddies.

Thanks, Bank or boat angling it doesn't really matter to me.Boat angling would be a big advantage though, i used to go to Baysnfield dam almost every week , used to catch everytime i went there , the fish are not to big there , best catch was a 1.2kg from the shore . Now the farmer does not allow day visitors anymore because of all the kak that the day visitors use to cause ie , littering , taking the fish home & not paying gate fees.This really causes a big problem for us sports anglers,we now have to suffer because we got less venues to fish at.Its really a sad state of affairs.

howzit you can get a free permit from the sappi offices to fish from the bank at sattelite dam near crammond. Behind albetr falls dam.

Cool.Do you have any contact numbers for me to phone to obtain such a permit, i remember trying once, they are difficult sometimes.
