Float Tubes, Kick Boats, V Boats

Hey, what's all the fuss about? You can't afford a bass boat? You only have a small car and couldn't tow a boat? Well then, don't dispair, you CAN get on the water to enjoy bass fishing and even enjoy a bit of an advantage against the boaters!

Bass Fishing for the Float Tube angler

At Bassing.co.za, we realised that there were simply hordes of bass anglers who simply couldn't get their dream ride. The economy has dealt many a person a blow to their pocket and the barrier of entry into good fishable waters was seriously high. Bank angling for bass is not that easy. You have very few bank angler friendly venues and even then, the angler is restricted to specific angler friendly spots. Not any more though! When you hop onto one of the inflatable devices that are now available, you have a means to get behind the grass, behind the reeds, into the deep water, on top of the bass! What is more though, you can access most of the waters where the boat angler can go (other than where there are crocodiles of course) BUT you can also go to the City ponds and smaller dams where boats are not allowed! So, you not only save on the cost of a boat, but you can also be fishing within a few kilometers of your home.

Competitive Bass Fishing

When the avid inflatable anglers looked at the big money competitions, they felt left out, and frustrated. Surely there was a way for them to compete with each other and to compete for prizes too? That's when we at Bassing.co.za opened a dedicated corner in our forums for the "floating angler", a haven where fellow enthusiasts could get together and plan their next meeting on the water or even put together a money competition. That is exactly what happened! If you visit our forums, you too can be part of this growing and active community!

Kick Boat Bass Classic and Kick Boat Bass Challenge

Under the leadership of the forum members called Basslover and Wilmy, a well constructed money circuit has been put into play. Based simply on a shared prize pool plus some sponsor prizes, the first Kick Boat Bass Classic was a roaring success. These events are planned on a regular basis (called the Kick Boat Bass Challenge) so you can certainly look forward to come action, even if you only join in on the fun now. You can read more about the Kick Boat Bass Classic and Kick Boat Bass Challenge in our bass forums or you can visit the dedicated Kick Boat Bass Classic website.
