A quick knot to tie terminal tackle (hooks or swivels or weights) to the end of your line. This knot is particularly useful for tying terminal tackle to braid.
Steps to tie a Palomar Knot
Make a loop in your line and pass it through the eye of the hook.
Make an overhand knot without pulling it tight.
Pass the loop that is formed over the hook/swivel/weight.
Finish the knot off by lubricating (with saliva/ wd40 ect.) and pull tight by pulling the tag end and the main line together. Trim the tag end.
