Tying a Uni Knot

This knot is for tying terminal tackle (hooks or swivels or weights) to your main line or leader.

Steps to tie a Uni Knot

• Pass the end of the line through the eye of the hook, and let the hook dangle on the resultant loop.
• Go around the main line with the tag end to make a loop.
• Wrap the tag end around where the line is double 4-8 times.
• Tighten the knot a little, Not too much!
• Lubricate and slide the knot down to the hook and pull it tight. Trim the tag end.
